Hot Buttered Brandy Cider
Directions
1. Add brandy, cider, and compound butter into a sauce pan and heat until the butter has dissolved and the liquid is steaming.
2. Pour into a heat proof mug.
3. Garnish with cinnamon stick and/or star anise.
To make spiced compound butter (this compound butter recipe will make enough for about 20 servings and will keep for several weeks in the refrigerator):
Mix all of the ingredients using an electric mixer until everything is blended together. Place butter onto a sheet of plastic wrap and roll into a log shape. Keep refrigerated until ready to use.
