Join us at the Winery and Distillery for our Open House.

Winery & Distillery Tour
Take a self-guided tour behind the scenes to explore the winery’s modern-day fermentation room and historic underground aging cellars and visit our newly-opened Distillery. In the Distillery, you’ll be able to view our stills, barrel-aging room and other production areas. This self-guided tour is complimentary and is offered in lieu of our regular winery guided tour.

Wine & Spirits Tasting
While you tour, taste a selection of our wines including multiple Platinum and Gold medal winning wines Prairie Fumé and White Riesling and a couple of our hand-crafted Wisconsin-grown spirits. Our sparkling grape juice will be available for the kids.

Winemaker Talk
Winemaker Philippe will reflect on the opening of our Distillery and share what’s ahead as we look to the future of our new distillery, along with the happenings at the winery.

Grapevine Pruning
Observe pruning techniques for home grapevines as we share what we’ve learned about growing grapes in Wisconsin. The morning demonstration will begin upstairs in our Vineyard Room and conclude with a visit outside* to our vineyard, where we'll take you among the vines to show actual pruning. Saturday afternoon’s demonstration will only take place in the vineyard. (*Dress for the elements.)

Fun For All Ages
Stops along our self-guided tour will offer unique opportunities to learn about growing grapes, distilling brandy, and the various wildlife that visit our vineyards. Our bottling line will be in action for you to see.

Cooking with Wine
Hear tips on cooking with wine and spirits and enjoy a taste as Executive Chef, Paul Short features our Apple Eau de Vie in his morning demonstration and our Chardonnay will be featured in the afternoon.

Food & Wine
Lunch items from local Wyttenbach Meats will be available for purchase from 11am to 3pm. Our wines can also be purchased by the glass during
the event.

Additional Notes
Limited handicapped parking spots are available, or Kehl Road can be used for drop-off. For purchases of 12 or more bottles of wine, our Pick-Up Building in the parking lot will be open for you to retrieve your packed wine.

Donate blood at the winery during our annual blood drive. Appointments are preferred; walk-ins welcome! For reservations, call the American Red Cross at 800-733-2767 or visit redcrossblood.org. Every presenting donor will receive a coupon for a complimentary wine tour!

If you have access to a computer the day of the drive – complete Rapid Pass. RapidPass allows you to start the blood donation process (book reading & health history questions) from the comfort of your home or office and save time at the donation site. The process is simple, just read the following information and complete the questions online, then print your RapidPass and bring it with you or show it on your mobile device. Here is the link to get started: redcrossblood.org. THIS MUST BE DONE ON THE SAME DAY AS YOUR DONATION. It currently works only on a computer (PC or MAC). You can’t complete rapid pass on a tablet or your phone.
